If you've looked at the adjacent image, this is what I'm on about - The Maserati 250F in full splendor - in shades of Gray - just as I had remembered. The race that made both Maserati and Fangio Legends in their own lifetime - The German GP, Nurburgring in 1957. (a substantially edited clip from the original race highlights!) This is what Maserati are eluding to with their advertising expression "Excellence through Passion" It's just a pity that they forgot it for 30 years. As 'JC' once said and I quote: "Maserati were winning races when 'Enzo Ferrari' was still a fetus" - and that just about sums it up for me, where did it all go wrong?
