The Cooper Maserati T61 carried the Maserati name on in Formula 1 well into mid/late 60's. The T61's first race, was a non-championship one, the 'BRDC' International Trophy at Silverstone on May 14th. Two works drivers were; Richie Ginther and Jochen Rindt, Rob Walker entered a car for Jo Siffert. Jo Bonnier and Guy Ligier each entered their own cars. However John Surtees, who replaced Richie Ginther, took the car's first win in the final race of the 1966 season in Mexico, and in turn Surtees's replacement, Pedro Rodríguez, won the very next race, the first race of the 1967 season at Kyalami in South Africa. (I believe there is a computer based simulation wich includes this car - 'Grand Prix Legends' if you fancy a go!)
